Word on the Street is that Vogel will be out if he doesn't go far into the playoffs this year.

Actually just saw it on ESPN. He's "coaching for his job" per sources. I think that's a bit ridiculous.

it's definitely an overreaction and he should in no way be on the hot seat but something definitely is going on with them. I don't know who is to blame but something is funky

I'd take a monkey over Monty at this point.

Yes, he dealt with injuries all season.
Yes, he was playing with D-League talent at times.
Those two are very big reasons to give him a pass.

Issue is: His rotations are horrible and he is not a good game manager at all.

It took him 3/4 of the season to be over to shake up the starting lineup and threw Evans in. He forces defensive rotations that make our offense extremely stagnant as well

I love when teams are complacent and give coaches chance after chance even when their winning % over 4 years is barely over .400, and that counting a season with over 50 wins.

In Monty's defense he's only had one season since he's been here where the roster was decent and I think that's was the year before CP3 and DWest left. Ever since then, he's always been dealing with a rash of injuries to star players or a complete roster overhaul. It's hard to build anything when there's so much roster turnover.

Pels should take a long look at Lionel Hollins. His record improved every in Memphis, which is stunning, really. He was simply a casualty of a franchise going through an ownership change.

I would definitely prefer him to Vogel, no question.

Its def ridiculous.

And I doubt he gets fired anyways. And if he does, its because Larry Bird will be the coach. I mean who are they going to go out and hire that is as good or better than Vogel? Mike Woodson?

Then they arent firing Vogel. And if they do, then they are blowing up the team and getting rid of a lot of guys.
