honestly what keeps Monty around?

He has been horrible his entire tenure here besides his first season. Is it his first season that he is living off of?

He's a coach on Team USA so he must be good.

He knew to suck up to AD and build a friendship. I remember in an interview AD said Monty calls him everyday in the off season to see if he needs anything.

Beats me! He's got some talent but his coaching sucks. We're being beat by the bottom dwellers of the league...or is it just me who sees these things?

the only reason Benson bought the franchise was:
A: goodwill from the community. he's now the guy who saved basketball and football in New Orleans.
B: to consolidate sports ownership in his hands in order to reap more of the benefits from the stadium district and a media distribution contract.
