He's 100x better than Norris Cole

I agree, this guy could be a bench spark. He has played against starters and not looked completely out of place as well. (Bc let's not kid ourselves, he's destroying a d league lineup right now just like he did when he was in the d league.)

Yeah, he's good, would be a nice bench guard for us.

Hamilton and Ennis are looking pretty decent too. Hope we keep one of those as the bench SF.

The real question is why haven't we cut Cole to sign Frazier so he can get injured and stop killing the tank. Do they really think they can S&T Cole to LeBron for something better than tanking?

I'm pretty dumb on NBA roster / contract management stuff.

Do we "own" the decision on Frazier? If we want to extend the deal with like a 3 yr type thing can we do that? Or are we at reasonable risk he can end up elsewhere?

I'm pretty sure he's one of the hardship exceptions which means he can only be singed for this year. That's why I brought up cutting Cole. Free up a roster spot to sign Frazier.

I can see why some if the Portland fans on here were talking so highly of him.

Definitely shores up backup pg for us as well as a decent backup plan if one of our two guys get injured.

Exactly. I cannot understand why we are taking up a roster spot with Cole since he is gone after the year anyway.
