Lol no one was saying this when AD hit all a bunch of clutch shots last season. Davis is going to continue to develop as a player and develop mentally. I don't know the guy, but looking at how he handles himself in games and in press conferences, he doesn't seem to be a leader and is not very outspoken. This is rather odd for most of us because I think AD and Chris Paul are polar opposites in that respect.

Maybe it is Gentry that has stunted his growth as a basketball player. He was so damn good last year. Its just disappointing to see him not take that next step.

AD is an introvert who shoos lil sick kids away who ask for a picture.

Hard to admit but it's the truth. Softer than he could be.

he could never get better and he'd still be a franchise player. You're wrong

Yes, a guy that is the midst of adding even more range and skills, in a new system offensively and defensively, playing with a misfit roster, at age 22, has hit his ceiling.

Or not really.

The real issue is that the franchise is expecting a level of leadership from AD that no 22 year old can provide... AD is great, but we need another guy to be the heart and soul of the team

I don't know what it is but he surly seems to have hit a wall. The whole team and coaching is a shite show so I guess he feels he should just as soon join the show

Laughable how Genry is still coaching this team and has not been canned.

He's already had the best season (statistically) that he will ever have.

possibly, but I am not sure if it is the offense or the role they have him playing in the offense...but the gentry hire is certainly holding him down either way

Does not have an ounce of leadership in his bones and is soft as tissue.

I'm sure he doesn't lose sleep over what you think buddy and based on your history no one else should either.
