Westbrook reminds me of that episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when Carlton took the ball away from Will cause he wanted to be the hero. That's Westbrook. I'm serious, watch them in fourth quarters. Every time Westbrook does his thing, the other team makes a comeback, then Durant has to save them.

Is he a better fit at the 2? Probably.. But so is Westbrook

Westbrook is not a 1 or a 2. He is point guard who can't pass and a shooting guard who can't shoot.

Westbrook will be the best PG in the league in no less than 3 years.

i don't care...the point is westbrook is a great player, and he is comparable to last season's MVP minus a serious knee injury. and he's 23 years old. The Thunder would not be going to the Finals without him

Westbrook's FG% has risen every year he's been in the league, from 40% to 46% this past season. He only averaged 5.5 assists per game this year, but 8 and 8.2 the two previous seasons. The guy is an awesome player.

I actually think Westbrook is very similar to Rose, and I think he is better than Rose. I was hoping the Hornets would trade Paul straight up for Westbrook.

All that said, that has nothing to do with his pure pg skills and how he fits with OKC. Having someone like Rondo or Paul on that team would make them even better, which is scary considering they are about to win the title with Westbrook.

And the Thunder got on their roll against the Spurs when Westbrook started to get out of the way. He scored 9 and 10 points in their first 2 wins, then had a horrible shooting game in the third win. Even last game, his points were coming from Durant and Harden setting him up. When he tried to do things himself, it was leading to bad plays and turnovers.
