If Detroit takes Drummond, it would be for him to play the 5 so Monroe can slide into his natural position as a 4.

ok so don't know how this will be received but...

if Lillard is gone when we draft do you think we could draft a big at #10 then if rivers is still hanging around at #17 we trade Jack to the Mavs for their pick?

and we all know the Mavs love them some old (older) dudes

Jack is in the last year of his contract at 5 mil a year he's 28 or something around there; we get Rivers develop him behind Vasquez or Dragic

is that too crazy?

River isn't a point guard

Rivers can play point guard in the NBA. Period. I'm tired of this BS about him not being able to play the point.. Is he a better fit at the 2? Probably.. But so is Westbrook and I don't see OKC fans complaining.

Rant over.

That's not going to happen. Mavs would probably just draft Rivers themselves and pair him with Deron Williams. Mavs are looking to make big moves, they aren't trading for Jack.

You're saying Westbrook isn't a better fit at the SG position? I promise you if OKC had a pure point playing with Westbrook and Durant then they are literally unstoppable.

i kinda see Lillard's draft status going like Steph Curry's...big scorer at small school. impressive in workouts. long gone by the tenth pick

OKC is at their best when Durant or Harden are making plays. Every time Westbrook tries to make plays, bad things happen.

c'mon man....westbrook can get a little too trigger happy sometimes, but you are way off on this one.

If they somehow had a pure point guard good enough to move Westbrook from the one they'd trade Westbrook.

Curry would be a perfect fit next to Gordon.

I'm praying Drummond lasts until Portland, I can't see them passing him up.

How are we getting Curry?

Way off? When Westbrook tries to do things himself, OKC struggles. It was weird watching Harden and Durant try to put the Spurs away in fourth quarters, only to have Westbrook try and join the party and let the Spurs back in the game. This happens all the time. I don't even understand why they let Westbrook handle the ball at all in fourth quarters.

Westbrook reminds me of that episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when Carlton took the ball away from Will cause he wanted to be the hero. That's Westbrook. I'm serious, watch them in fourth quarters. Every time Westbrook does his thing, the other team makes a comeback, then Durant has to save them.

I didn't say the Hornets were getting Curry. I was responding to someone's comparison of Lillard to Curry.

they would not be nearly as good without Westbrook. He does a lot of good.

i wasn't comparing Curry and Lillard's games. I was comparing their processes of moving up in the draft
