Gentry said the Pelicans need to figure out what team they are in the next week or so. NO's playoff odds at 4% coming into tonight, per 538

A team where you trade everything that's not a long term piece.

We don't have an identity

And I don't think we ever will with this current regime, from the owner to the ballboys

He's the same loser coach with years of losing records as a head coach in the past.

We're a team that needs a new GM/coach/training staff. Everyone knows it, probably even you Uncle Al.

see some of these comments from/about Gordon and the organization?

quote:

I just thought it was going to be good for me -- a good organization, a good training staff. I just thought they had the whole package for me and all I had to do is just play and not worry about injuries and put that stuff in the past and just revive myself.

quote:

When I look back on it, the only guys that's been there is Anthony Davis, and since me and Ryan left, there's been a lot of transition, a lot of guys in and out," Gordon said. "So what's the stability there? I'm not really worried about what's going on down there, but I just know what happened down there and my role changed year by year. So we really had only one good year (2014-15). It's been tough -- it was a roller coaster there.

quote:

“This was a perfect time in my career to be a free agent and make a change,” Gordon said. “Things never worked out, never came together in New Orleans. They kept changing what they wanted me to do and in five years there we only had one good year where we made the playoffs. It was just time for me to go.”

quote:

“(He’s a) professional,” Harden said of Gordon. “True professional. He just wants to win. He was in a not-so-happy situation where he came from. Now he’s happy. He’s winning.”

I agree with constant changing role but Gordon needs the stfu. He made his time here hard on himself. Since day one he complained and bitched. He refused to be with the team, clashed with the coach, bitched about playing off then bench, and refused to rehab. This team dealt with a lot of his shite and payee him well for it.

some sour grapes for sure from Gordon.

but what he said is basically what 95% of the posters here say about the team. and he was actually seeing the sausage get made. because "he's a pussy/bitch" he isn't allowed to say what many, many pels fans say every day?

people who think some big name FA is signing here need to wake up and remember these comments. players talk

I think you can be right and still be a bitch. That's what I see in those comments. I always wanted EG to be better than he was. It was no one in the organization's fault he dribbled the ball off his foot all the fricking time.

I do not understand how he does not know this yet?

Also I feel like Gentry's uses set rotation no matter what is going on in the game or the previous game.

The only time he seems to break that is when somebody gets in Foul trouble or when we are being blown out.

Diallo should get more mins. You could put him in for 3-4 mins a half.

He's coached 111 games as the Pelicans coach. If he doesn't know what kind of team he's coaching by now, he never will. That's largely his fault.

This is a big issue I have. The constant changing of players around Davis is not good. That along with AD talking on IG about how much he loves LA, he will be gone if things dont change.
