Game was lost on Monty leaving that early 4th quarter rotation in for too long.

That's interesting. I remember it being tied at 97 with 1 minute left in the game

Absolutely the opposite. Good effort.

I truly think roughly 50% of the posters are dweebs who are frustrated in real life and don't know their arse from a hole in the ground when it comes to the NBA. But maybe I'm wrong.

And had we not blown the lead in the early fourth quarter what would the score have been late?

If we don't start getting production from the bench things are going to get bad in a hurry. Starters playing heavy minutes and we got 10 points from the bench.

So we're playing the counterfactual game?

Dude, the game was tied with 6:48 and was back and forth from then on. Dallas had the best player on the floor and he was the difference. shite happens.

I do agree that the 10 man rotation needs to stop, but Monty pulled those guys early when it was clear they were about to lose the game. The starters just ran out of gas.

Anderson has played 134 minutes, Holiday 121, Gordon 114 since Sunday. He has to give these guys a break at some point.

At least the Pelicans didn't lose to the Jazz and Suns in a row.

No, that was the point where our +/- was at its worst.

That's great.

You still have no way of knowing the team wins if Monty subs those guys out a minute earlier.

Blaming someone for every loss is just such a miserable path. His team played hard. They just couldn't make a shot- probably because of 3 games in 4 nights. That happens sometimes.

I don't like losing this game, but the team busted their arse. The coach had them in a position to win. They just fell short.

And you still have no way of knowing if the team still loses, so you're doing the exact same thing by disregarding what I said.

No shite. Not disregarding anything, just pointing out how dumb your original statement was.

Maybe they win if he goes back to the starters sooner, maybe they run out of gas and still lose. Maybe, very unlikely, but maybe the bench plays better with more time and galvanizes the team.

The point is youre arguing against the air. Heres what we know: The game was tied with 6:48 left. The Pelicans fought hard and lost by 3 to a good Mavs team. Not sure why that is a blameworthy result.
