Harden's comments at the end are great:

quote:

Harden views New Orleans as a potentially dangerous team in 2014-15 if it can remain healthy and put all of its components on the floor together. The crafty and prolific southpaw has played against the Pelicans seven times over the past two seasons, but rarely against their full complement of players. “You’ve got Jrue Holiday at the 1, Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans, Anthony Davis and Omer now,” Harden listed. “Then you come off the bench with Ryan Anderson. That’s a good team, with so many young guys who are talented and can make plays.”

You guys should be good in the future, and if Gordan can even half resemble his old self you could be a fight for the 5 or 6 seed.

Y'all are going to have to keep a back seat to Portland though

Say what? You guys missed any injuries last season. If we're 75% as healthy as you guys were last season we'll make the playoffs and probably be on par with the Blazers.

75%?

If the Pels are 100% healthy I think best case scenario is essentially repeating what the blazers did this season.

Look at the time that I made that post

ETA: I think that I meant we'll be on par with the Blazers this upcoming season, not what they did last season. I'm guessing they'll take a step back.

Blazers will not have the injury luck they had last year.

Only LMA missed 13 games due to injury, their other starters played every game while averaging:
36.2/36.0/35.8/33.9/31.7 mpg

Indiana is so desperate now after pg went down and Stephenson left, I bet they would take egs contract. Maybe just maybe give us a first rounder that could be good next year too, but I would rather have eg play it out with us than anyone on the pacers roster in return at this point anyways unless we got a draft pick.
