Good god Fletcher. Basically draft Murray and Valentine (understandable) by trading Jrue. Doesn't think Hield or Dunn will be there. Trade tyreke as well and draft some more high IQ players. Dump Gentry for Becky Hammon. Sign Crabbe and Delly for 8-9 year. And his final product on paper is starting lineup of Murray, Crabbe, Valentine, Davis, Zizic with QPon Delly Asik Frazier BDJ off bench. It's kind of a dumb article but somehow his dumb ideas sound better than trusting Derps to right the ship.

No defense on the perimeter. No playmakers. Hell, Frazier's about the only one Id trust to run PnR. Managed to keep the double As. We'd also be leaving like 25mil in cap space on the table. Is that even legal in the CBA?

Like I said in the other thread, if you're going to go that route, you might as well just trade Davis. You're basically telling him "maybe some of these guys will develop and we can compete in the conference right when you become an UFA."
I'm not saying they should trade Davis or even really think about it- too much can happen to pull the plug right now. But with some of the assets out there, you can get a good return on Davis to set yourself up for the next decade

my reasonable grade on this article is solely based on the atrocities Fletcher has posted in the past. I agree SOMETHING drastic has to be done to keep AD in Nola while Dell and Company think resigning Omer Asik and leaving a hole at the 3 can do the job.
Fletch's proposal is whack but he's at least thinking outside the box which makes this is a little more "reasonable."

The only good thing about that team is we would be looking to get a #1 pick. The bad news is Davis will be gone by the time the team is ready to win. I wouldn't mind trading tyreke for Valentine and signing crabbe though.

Fletcher is a moron and needs to sit down with someone who actually knows basketball for a few weeks and learn a few things. He could probably start by going to a local third grader because there's a real chance that kid knows more than Fletch
