Fire Dell Demps and Alvin Gentry 2017-2018 Season Long Thread

Might as well get this ball rolling. (I know I started one in Free Agency but I wanted to include Gentry in this one)
Dell Demps:
Look at this fricking roster. Look at it. A Guard's league and we have no guards.
Jrue Holiday: gave up multiple picks for, now 126 million dollars. We found out last year that he can't play PG next to Boogie and AD, and that was confirmed last night.
Omer Asik: 10.5, 11.2, 11.5(partially guaranteed), salary next 3 fricking years.
Alexis Ajinca: 5.1, 5.5, salary next two years
No backup PG to Rajon Rondo, who is out the first month of the season.
No backup SF worth anything to an already extremely average Solomon Hill (salary: 12.2, 12.7, 13.2), who is out for the vast majority of the season.
Absolutely no path to adding anything of value next year. Even if Omer Asik miraculously is Medical Retired or traded, we still wouldn't have any cap space.
No assets besides 1st round picks and MAYBE Diallo (and, obviously, Boogie and AD).
Now Alvin Gentry:
His record as a coach: 399-471
He's had I think 2 winning seasons in his entire career as a HC.
He's a bum.
Fire their asses. Now. While we still can salvage two All-Star big men.

Was listening to the Ringer NBA pod with Kevin O'Connor and Chris Vernon. I was optimistic about the season but they said something that really reasonated. "Imagine the perfect roster to complement AD....now go and look at the pels roster and see how far away it is from what you envisioned." It's almost the opposite freaking roster of what it should be

Thing about us being bad at d is we didn't really attempt to bring back Anderson or Gordon so that we could sign defensive guys like hill. Now we don't have the offensive spark or the defense

Unfortunately, the obvious problem is that we have a power vacuum at the top. We have an owner that is shitting his diapers right now and can't form a coherent thought.

You want a scary thought? Demps has hired 2 up and coming "boy genius" assistants that one could label as an NBA version of Sean Payton. Would it really be hard to throw Gentry under the bus and convince Loomis that he should stick with you because you've already found the next Sean Payton?

This is obviously what is going to happen.
If we are like, 5-15 or something, Gentry will be canned, they will have either Erman or Finch as the interim, and Demps will save his job just a little bit longer.
Probably long enough for him to make a deal for say, Bledsoe, and they look ok down the stretch, buying himself another year.
