Awesome Breakdown

We will have 6.7 million to go get any shooter we want. When you start thinking about the possibilities it's unreal.

This was in the comment section of article:

With that lineup, in my opinion….

Starters
Holiday (34 Minutes)
Gordon (30 Minutes)
???? (Cap Space move) (24 Minutes)
Anderson (32 Minutes)
Davis (34 Minutes)

Bench
Tyreke (30 Minutes)
Smith (20 Minutes)
???? (Room exception) (14 Minutes)
Rivers (12 Minutes)
Withey (10 Minutes)

Foul Trouble/Blow Out/Garbage Minutes
Miller
Roberts
Jackson

I do have high hopes for both Miller and Jackson. Miller has the tools to be a 3&D guy.

I don't disagree but this isn't a football thread. We have a Saints board to blow Loomis.

Dell would sign Dwight Howard somehow

Saw that too. I was going to comment that I didn't think Anderson would be starting, but I wasn't logged on and didn't feel like dealing with it (first world problems)

I do think he would get 25-30 minutes a game though.

Starters:
Holiday
Gordon
Chandler :) Or whoever we would sign
Davis
Dalembert :) Or Smith if we choose not to sign another C.

Bench:
Tyreke
Anderson
Smith
Rivers
Miller

Withey
Roberts
Jackson

Sign Dalembert or another center to the MLE - Something like 2.5 MM I think?

I think that lineup is going to depend on who we get with the 6.7M.

Right now I see us signing Aminu with the MLE and using the 6.7M cap space on either (a) another center or (b) a shooter.

If we pick up another center, then I'd expect the starters to be Holiday, Gordon, Aminu, Davis, and the center, with Evans and Anderson coming off the bench. Crunch time lineup would probably be Holiday, Gordon, Evans, Anderson, and Davis, but if Gordon's hurt or one of them isn't playing well, the center could probably step in.

If we pick up a shooter (ideally a small forward; a tall, athletic and long shooting guard could work here as well I guess), then the shooter will probably start over Aminu, and Aminu can provide some quality play coming off the bench. Evans and Anderson still come off the bench. Smith starts at center with Withey spelling him for stretches. Probably the same crunch time lineup, with the shooter possibly threatening to supplant one of them (maybe Anderson if the shooter can also play good D, esp. on opposing 3s).

ETA: We probably do need another big. I guess the real deciding factor is whether or not we can get a good big right now, and who will be available next year.
