The national media might have a collective stroke. Two of the smallest market teams in the Western Conference Finals. That would be amazing.

As much as the media focuses on markets, the NBA focuses on stars. The league would love Ja vs. Zion Resurrected.

We would get swept, so I don't really want to imagine that.

Memphis bent us over this year including in 2 games without Ja.

With the way we are playing lately and the confidence we’ve built, I think we can throw out most of the regular season history. This team keeps getting better every game.

That’s not a knock at Memphis….

That’s impossible because the Pelicans would play them in the second round if both teams make it out of round 1.

Nah, Memphis is just a terrible matchup for us.

Plus, in this scenario, they would be playing with crazy confidence too.

The NBA doesn't re-seed. The winner of NO/PHX gets the winner of DAL/UTA.

do we need an “NBA basics 101” thread on here? Some other dude was convinced that draft order was affected by playoff results

Weren’t we without BI and/or CJ for almost all of their games this year?

Yeah, I don’t wanna play Memphis. Every time we play them, those mother frickers don’t miss.

Well if we make the conference finals, upsetting the Suns and winning another series, I think it’s fair to say we got a fighters chance against Memphis.

This is not correct. Ja only missed 1 game while Ingram missed 2:

LINK

The closest defeat was by 12 points though, and that was the 1 game Ingram played and Ja didn't.

But that was also the earliest of our games played and we had only traded for CJ a week prior.

They have gelled a lot more since then. Not saying we could beat the Grizzlies, but it's not really the same as our regular season matchups, and if we were to get to that point Zion would have a real shot to have come back by then.

Some other idiot was convinced that the Pels could've possible had 3 play-in games.

We were 1-3 overall against them. And also 1-3 vs the suns.

Perfect example: Toronto was 3-1 against the Sixers in the regular season
