Congrats to King Cake Baby for his first role in a movie!

That mascot is such an epic mistake on so many levels. It's completely amazing to me how hellbent they are on using it.

If the "rapist Pierre" beak was alarming enough for the Pels to change it with so much weird fanfare, it's clear to me that they have to be aware of how unsettling King Cake Baby is. But they're just gonna keep on trucking with it?

First, Pierre I was never tied to rape, he had more of a serial killer in a series of scary movies vibe. Second, I'd argue the exact opposite of what you're arguing. If King Cake Baby is ok they should have never gotten rid of Pierre I. They should have at least replaced him instead of surgically altering him so he could be brought out for special occasions like Halloween and Mardi Gras.

Normally I think mascots are stupid, but I actually miss Pierre I. He was unique in the mascot world.

How about this for a plot twist: at the end of the movie she finally removes king cake baby's mask and it's Pierre I underneath.

We all knew he's evil, right?
