Current coaches only (so no Sloan or Phil, etc.)

Pops
Thibs
Maybe Doc Rivers
Lionel Hollins
Maybe Adleman

Maybe I'm leaving out a guy but that's about it. you guys should be able to get my point. And yes this deserved its own thread. Monty is a good coach.

HTers be trippin

Better yet, name the unproven coaches who get as much praise as Monty.

Yes it does. He's 10 games over .500 without a 24-year-old MVP.

Doc or Carlile. Pops would be a polished Monty.

A real list of coaches better than Monty:

Poppovich
Thibs
Hollins
Carlise
Rivers
Vogel
Adelman
Collins
Brooks
Karl

Arguable:

Mark Jackson
Woodson
Larry Drew
Spolstra

Thibs is arguably the best coach? Holy shite danman at his finest right here.

How about the rest of his roster. Name good teams with also good coaches and as incomplete of a roster as ours. Don't worry I'm here all day, so I'll wait for the reply.

Tom Thibodeau is a top 5 coach in this league
that comment was hardly laughable

Top 5 is not the best. Best coach is best. All relative. I went by what he said.

Are you implying that Monty Williams is on the same level as Tom Thibodaux?

No I'm implying not that at all. I imply nothing other than what I say.
