i was just reading about the amount of money he would be leaving on the table if he goes to NY. He'll be missing out on around 40 million over about a 5-6 year span.
I don't think he's headed to NY

This is good though. I was a little worried Demps would drag his feet waiting for an owner, but since Paul is pushing the issue he can't wait or do things like overpay to keep West.

NY doesn't really have anything to trade. I don't think we do it for Billups and Douglas and they don't have any trade picks left after Denver cleaned them out.

This.

Billups is the only "asset" they have and that's a $15 million expiring contract.

Why not just keep CP3 all season and force him to sign as a FA with the Knicks if that's all they can get?

No way we trade him to the Knicks. His arse goes where we want him to go. If he is absoultely dead set on NY, hopefully a team will rent him for a year.

It seems like Boston would rent him at the very least. He isnt getting traded to the Knicks.

All I can say right now is that I have faith in Demps.
