This is the same egg head that sat out 34 games last year b/c his right ring finger.

he never played more than 64 games with us for 5 seasons. Dude is made of glass. Might as well prepare for him to be out for the rest of the season with this toe injury

Good luck. Holiday got turf toe a few weeks back and has played like crap on offense ever since.

10 points gets you ROM? The league really is in the toilet.

The #1 pick Ben Simmons got injured in preseason or Summer League. The #2 pick Brandon Ingram went to a team that was already full of young talent. There just isn't a situation where a top 5 pick was the best player on a bad team and would get to pad stats. The league's talent level is pretty damn high right now.

isnt that pretty much why Hield earned the award? because he started shooting lights out from 3 in December?

his on/off numbers are still pretty ghastly on the season (total -138 on, +23 off /// -8 Net Rating on, +1 off), but they have been much, much better since they moved Davis to the 5 (+3 Net on, +.5 off).

very happy for his improved 3pt shot, still a ways to go for Hield---which is perfectly normal for a rookie 3 months into his career.

good article on the hield/Murray debate here

troubling that advanced stats for hield are so bad, but they both have a ways to go

good read- thanks for the share.

it's tough for Hield because they are asking him to create off the bounce and he just can't do it at this point. i cringe when he runs pnr. he needs some live reps, but it's ugly right now.

defense will take time and he's at a deficit re: size/athleticism, but he just needs to not blow assignments and he can be a positive w/ his shooting.

at this point, worst case for him looks like Anthony Morrow. still very, very, very early. let's see how his dribble game develops over the next couple of years

eta- looks like Lowe will be dropping a piece on the Pellies this week from his pod w/ JVG
