LINK
They explore some interesting ideas on how to mix what Boogie likes to do offensively with what Gentry runs and they touch on what I am most excited to see, the Boogie and AD pick and roll.
EDIT: They also shite on the Kings front office some more.

Shoutout to Coach Nick

Listened to first 15 minutes and these dudes didn't know Boogie was here til at least after next season, and didn't name Moore when talking about the starting lineup.
ETA; they literally figured out the Moore thing right after I posted this

Huh?
You talking about their podcast or something?
Never listened to it. Coach Nick's bread and butter is X's and O's breakdowns, sounds like he should stick to that.

the biggest thing is AD can now pass it instead of forcing bad shots.
A lot of times, we saw AD hold onto the ball and force these shots that just make you go PASS!! because Ajinca/Asik are on the floor. You saw less of it when DMo and Jones were on the court, but the problem is failed defense on the opposite end.
Gonna be a learning curve, but neither of these guys had this caliber of player on their team before and they're going to need to learn how to break the bad habit and trust their teammates more. The last few years, Boogie has improved tremendously, hopefully he helps AD in that department too. I fully expect both to be able to average 24/10/3

shite, Boogie hadn't even had a player of Jrue's caliber before let alone AD. I think he is going to love it.
A tall lineup of Jrue, Moore/Hill, Casspi, Davis, Cousins has to be a nightmare for any defense in the NBA.

Yeah I listened to the podcast. You are definitely right he should stick to breakdowns. I think he admitted as much.
At one point I think he says Crowder is as good as Jimmy Butler, then backtracked. Also tried to argue that he would rather keep Bradley over getting Jimmy Butler. That's when I turned it off.

Speaking of Hill, he is one of the biggest Pelican winners in this trade. He literally just needs to hit 3s at a reasonable clip and play defense. His contract still sucks but it's less ridiculous as we won't need him to crash the glass and provide offensive playmaking. Just play the Danny Green/Bruce Bowen role where you live to make people work and have an extremely high volume of 3s for FGAs.

quote:agreed. This is all I've ever wanted out of SF when I know that I have a PG and low post guy to do pick and rolls most of the time on offense. Now that we have 2 elite posts, He will have some more open shots.

That is literally all Moore has to do as well. If Hill, Moore, and Casspi can play D and hit 35-40% of their shots we gone be good!
Alvin just needs to get everyone on the same page and in the roles they were meant to be in
