80 million Tvs in a monstrosity sports bar environment. No pels.
So frustrating. How many markets would kill for both an NBA and NFL franchise?

Because maybe 15 people in the state care about the Pels, myself included. Lafayette hardly has any Pels gear anywhere.

I went there for an Lsu football game a couple years ago. Had to ask several times before they put it on and they were visibly getting aggravated about it. Meanwhile they had a group of Bama fans who had several tvs on the Bama game

Went to try it, got seated sat there for 15 minutes and no came to serve us. Left and went next door to basin.

Remember when the excuse would have been "we don't have the channel"?
I'd like to think this is a function of our record... they definitely won't forget when we're in the playoffs, etc.

It's ok. I think there are certain establishments the Pels faithful just try to support, and certain ones that are difficult and avoidable. To me, it just seems "lazy" to not know your local sports teams' TV schedules. I'll throw out a name of a bar that I used to frequent when I drank that always had the game on...Swamp Room on Vets. I never had to request the game and seemed there were other fans there. Should turn this thread into some good Pels spots now that we outed a couple shitty ones.
