I don't think people realize just how bad the Hornets roster is. Also to the guy who said this
quote:

I don't expect Monty to finish the season because I think a huge coup d'etat is going to erupt on the bench by the players very soon.

Half the team is barely in the league but they're going to overthrow the coach

I haven't been able to watch enough games to judge rotations, but I certainly understand the frustration of sticking with guys like Belinelli so much. Ultimately though I think Monty has done a pretty amazing job of making this team competitive with the little talent we have on the court. I mean we are at the bottom of the barrel talent wise.

If only games were 3 quarters we'd be about .500. Teams kill us in the 4th.

Monty gets the team to over achieve on defense

I sick and tired of hearing this. Over the last two years, I can count on 1 hand the number of stops we have gotten when the game was on the line. We've been completely average in points per possession. The ppg numbers are a joke because he cuts the number of possessions by a quarter.

And that's with Paul and Ariza, who are premier defenders at their positions and Okafor who is well above average. When Ariza, Paul, or Okafor were out, we were terrible.

Tim Floyd could have easily won 46 games with last year's talent. A competent coach would have won 55 with Paul, West, Thornton, and Ariza.

Monty is the perfect coach to drive the tank, as he can do so without changing anything he does. But his office should definitely be empty the day after the season ends.

I don't think anything that helps this year should be held against Monty.

I say we stick with Monty, we can't get any big name players to come down here and who says finding a coach will be any different. If We fire him we will more than likely get a coach who has been cycled through the league, stay here two seasons and still yield no results. He atleast deserves two more years.
