Cleveland doesn't count when it comes to most improved team this year. They're expected to win games. If they win 16 more games than last year they will be at 49 and that would be considered a huge letdown. If Pelicans win 16 more games they'd be at 50 and everyone on this board would be ecstatic.

obv not a full season I don't see why you'd even post this. 44 games won't get a team into the Western Conf playoffs this year.

While we're at it I'll take CL over South as best team on the bayou.

obviously its for people who already know its a 66 game season and can do the math. Its about a 45 win season.

CP3 was robbed during the whole "Give it to kobe, life-time achievement MVP award" because the Hornets ended the season with a loss to the Lakers. We all know that.

that one regular season game still haunts CP3 (wins MVP probably if we win), the Pelicans franchise (we get one seed if we win most likely, avoid the Spurs)

and the way it played out haunted me. go down by 30, come all the way back (!!!!) to within 1, but don't take the lead and lose down the stretch

and i didn't forget that the night after we lost to mediocre Sacramento, but that Lakers game deflated us anyway

You got me there. Haven't been to a game since I've graduated.

Although I think I heard some people at work talking about how South handled Central pretty easily a couple weeks ago. Could be wrong though.

ETA: 44-27 SL

Just one more thing for you to be wrong about. We should make a list.

Season hasn't started. No idea how the teams supposed to be.

Anyway, back on topic. Boom, where would you rank Anthony Davis' chances at MVP? Top 5? 10? 300?

Somewheres between 5-10.

Lebron
Westbrook
KD
Paul
Griffin
Curry

Behind these guys for sure all of these guys teams have a chance of being good enough to have their best player win the MVP.

You are dumb as shite. Vucevic is one of the best young centers in the league. You also claimed that the Lakers have a better front court. Stay stupid, brother.

I don't think Westbrook will be in the conversation. That game made him look like Kobe, and not in the good sense either. I think he continues being that way all year.

KD will bring the team back to life when he gets back imo, so he'll be a top 3 lock.

LeBron will be LeBron with his 25/7/7

CP3 will get pushed to the side for Griffin. I mean it already started to happen last year.

Curry won't get a shot at all, imo. That team might be good, but what he does in the general "stats" isn't head and shoulders above everyone else.

Vucevic could stand to become a better post-up defender. Strength was an issue and he would get bullied inside when trying to defend on the low block. That was his primary weakness on defense last season, alongside his inability to protect the rim. In 2012-13, opponents shot 59.7 percent at the rim with Vucevic off the floor compared to 62.4 percent with him on it, per NBA.com. SOFT just because he's good doesn't mean he isn't soft bro.
