And adding a 6'7 athletic guy that can facilitate. Why are you trying to make it something it's not?

I don't think Butler and Batum are very realistic and I can't imagine them expecting a rookie to have much of an impact unless it was Simmons/Ingram.

If thats the case then Simmons is literally Gentry wet dream.

Or Gentry may call up Harrison Barnes, although idk if he qualifies as a facilitator.

Luwawu has shown great passing instincts. He has shown hr can run the pnr, pass to guys cutting to the basket, and look for the open man. Of course he's not cp3 but he has the passing instincts that could be developed.

Maybe then I will see fewer threads about Luwawu on this board.

letting Turner run your offense

Not sure where you are getting this. "6'7" facilitator," to me, means a wing who can pass and create some, which doesn't exist on this team.

Turner is a guy who can do a little bit of everything okay. Yes, he is a lesser version of Evans. He also would fit much more comfortably off the bench playing ~25 mpg, also known as the role the team said it wanted Evans to play. If he's available for under 8 figures, he's an interesting option. Much more than $10M and no thank you.

I do think they should consider moving Evans. They don't have to or anything, but I think he might be an addition by subtraction type move

We won 45 games with him running the point. In the 2 biggest games of the season against okc he has 22/15/10 and the final game against the Spurs has 19/11. How the frick it's addition by subtraction. Like did last season just not happen? Am I in some weird twilight zone where I only remember it? Evans is not the perfect player but he damn sure is talented and makes us better currently. I've seen this guy beat top team with scrubs around him. Stop making assumptions on this season about fit. Even Gentry said it was a wash because he didn't play in training camp and barely played enough to pick up the system. Until we get a ball dominate star their is no need to move Evans. Complain about his usage Jrue beat that this year, Empty stats the 2 best season of Jrue's career the teams have losing records. So unless we are trading him for a player that makes us better or we draft Ben Simmons people need to chill with that dumb talk and watch the season. This dude bust his arse on the floor last season. He was even getting his knee drained damn near everyday to stay on this floor to help this team win. So how can some people even question this guy and claim he's for himself or we're better with out him. I'm not saying Tyreke is better than Jrue because Jrue is a better fit for most teams but Jure has shown us absolutely nothing since we traded for him. We were below .500 the first half of last season with him putting up meh numbers. He has shown nothing but some reason he's been highly touted as a untouchable great player who will help lead us to wins. It's year 3 and I have yet to see that guy. Again I'm not saying Reke is better but Tyreke has shown way more the Jrue has since being here.

No team can win a title with Tyreke Evans running the point. Jrue is our guy. Evans is best served coming off the bench or moved to another team

His per 36 numbers this season are 21.4/7.7 His PER is 19.7, the highest of his career and the high teens are typically the tier of players right beneath that year's All Stars. Other guards with 19.x PER, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Reggie Jackson and Mike Conley. That's not exactly nothing.

Omg he put up a bunch of high stats on a garbage team with a extremely high usage. The same thing he did as a all-star in Philly.

Project much, bro?

No one said anything about Holiday. tbh, both guys need the ball and both guys aren't great at keeping it moving.

Both Holiday and Evans had career a year when the other was out. Doesn't seem like a great fit to me, regardless of how talented each guy is- and both have talent. Unfortunately, this isn't fantasy basketball.

Can we get back on track here and talk about Gentry?

He obviously will be back next season. Does he make it through the entire season? Do we have the players or medical staff to run up and down the floor? Why in the hell is he making AD our 3 point specialist?! I'm all for him adding to his game, but it's taking away from what he is really great at.

Gentry is a good X and O's guy but really lacks adjusting to players.AD and Ryan are great offensive rebounders and he told them not too. I also dislike his rotations. He also seems to lack motivation skills.

I can seriously see us getting Brown I don't see us going after an offensive minded guy like Murray or Buddy.
