Pat Bev gives a lot of people fits. He's arguably HOU's MVP. Sometimes you just lose the night

Jrue's averaged 20/8/5 with 2 steals shooting 47% from the field the last two years when getting 30+ mpg. He's very good when healthy. How many PGs match those numbers?

His play isnt the question, it's his health.

Plus I think he was shook up a bit with the Boogie trade. He went from being the 2nd best player on the team to a distant 3rd. He needs to adapt to Boogie way more than AD bc it's Jrue's job to get the 2 bigs the ball.

I've noticed that Holiday tends to do well in spurts. I'm waiting for him to put it all together. I'd like to see Jrue consistently making an impact. He is too talented to have games like last night. The guys can pass, defend, and score. he should be able to make an impact in multiple ways even if his shot is off.

This,

Jrue is highly overrated on this board, and by pels fans in general.

I think it is a sub-conscious need to justify the trade for him. 3 years wasted to injury, followed by 1 mediocre year, and now people want to max him out?

Jrue is a very good defender - NOT GREAT.

Jrue is an AWFUL and UNWILLING passer for a PG. He is without question in the bottom of passing skills for PG. Honestly, if he was just 2 inches taller he would only play SG. His game is certainly more of a SG than a PG.

I've just never been a fan. Sure he has played awesome at times, and he has played horrible at times.... but what is the ratio?

If we can keep him at a reasonable price - fine, but no way in hell we should break the bank for him.

Jrue was not only ineffective last night, he was down right pathetic -- in all phases.

And before the peanut gallery chimes in, remember that Gentry's offense is a PGs pipe dream. His numbers should be through the roof.

Look at what D'antoni did IMMEDIATELY with Harden. We run a similar system.......

Jrue should have been packaged with Hill and Asik to the 76ers just to clear space.
