To be fair, he was pretty terrible last night. A total non-factor

Your PG shouldn't just disappear like that

I hope so. But going forward we do need a pass first type guard. That's all I want.

Yeah, I don't know what was going on last night. We need him to be able to hit outside shots.

Practice from here on out should just be everyone except AD and Boogie shooting 3 pointers.

He's great, but he is the type of player that is a liability when he's off. He doesn't disappear on an off night, he hurts you. His passing has never been strong, so I really want to wait and see how he adapts to things for the remainder of the season. He may figure it out, but passing and outside shooting is where he struggles and that's the element we need, imo.

He has all world ability, he's just inconsistent.

The quicker people realize its a mistake to give him 25M a year, the quicker we can get someone on the team worth that.

Of course someone is going to link the 20/8 over the last 13 games, but thats just it, this dude is NEVER consistent.

20/8 over 13 games is the definition of consistent you tard

ALL NBA players have bad games and bad matchups. It just so happened that Jrue was going against Beverly last night, someone who has had Jrue's number in the past.

Not in order. Just PGs better than Jrue

1. Curry
2. Russ
3. Harden
4. CP3
5. Conley
6. Wall
7. Kyrie
8. Lillard
9. Bledsoe
10. Isaiah Thomas
11. Lowry
12. Kemba
13. Teague
14. Schroder
15. George Hill
16. Jrue

He just had an off game. He will be fine. However, I have never thought he was a max player. That is my biggest concern. I have come to grips with the fact that he will be overpaid, but I sure hope we do not throw a max contract at him.

Since we are resorting to name calling now to drive home the point link me his games missed. Oh wait ill do that for you.

LINK

Also since we are on the topic of paying him MAX and me being a retard and all. I am generally assuming you are in the camp of paying him in the likes of KD, AD, Boogie, Harden, etc..

hes play 74 games out of 164. You in what frickin world thinks thats consistent?

No. He's probably in the low teens as far as PGs go. But that position is stacked.

So now he's only inconsistent because he misses game due to injury

And hopefully Philly doesn't push us there. If Philly doesn't bid up Holiday's price you can hopefully get him in the low $20s. And you are the one that needs to get over it. People get angry at "non max players" that get a max deal, well that's just the laws of supply and demand. A much bigger impediment to filling out this roster is Asik/Ajinca/Hill. All the people upset at the prospect of paying Holiday are like all the people on ST that kept saying Brees was why the Saints couldn't build a better team and would completely ignore all the Loomising on the roster.

And no, I'm not comparing Holiday to Brees, I'm comparing Dempsing to Loomising. If we had Ennis at $3 million instead of Hill at $12, and Asik had smartly been signed to a short deal and was expiring this season and Ajinca were an expiring Withey instead of himself, we'd be a Moore dump away from a max salary slot including Holiday's cap hold. But paying Jrue Holiday is going to be the death of this roster.

In the summer of 2018 the Lakers are probably going to come after Cousins and that's also when we can offer AD his new big money extension, so what moves are you going to make instead of resigning Jrue Holiday that will make us better this upcoming season so that Cousins and AD both feel better about signing new deals the following summer?

I'm waiting to hear a solid plan, because most people against signing Holiday seem to be against it on principal, not because they actually have a better idea. The closest thing I can come up with is hoping Rubio can be like Ish with good defense. But that only gives you an extra $10 million to spend on a SG, what $20+ million SG are you going to get with the extra money? It's not like you can trade Moore and the 2018 pick for McCollum.

Jrue had more turnovers (7) than points (6) last night. Still, you have to give this team time to gel. Like AD said, you have new guys who can score and everybody was trying to feed them the ball.

Jrue will be fine. Everybody just needs to settle down.
