You really underrate Miller I see.

I hope he reads this thread and becomes motivated to prove me wrong.

Rivers is the one I have my eye on this season.

Shiid, I hear that and I understand your reasoning. Rivers is the one I really wanna see improve. Miller, I already know his game.

It's bothersome because we were looking to upgrade the SF position going into this FA. (Yes, I know FA isn't over)

I mean, it is just a 1 year contract. He's just a placeholder for another year until we find a guy we like

Do you think he will be a better player this year since he won't be expected to do much on offense? He can focus on D and transition offense. I think he's going to have a good year.

I don't think he'll play all that much, but should provide some good energy when he gets in.

As of now he's a starter and really the best legit 3 they have. Ryno and Evans will have limited time there but only based on matchups. I'm sure he will get 20-25 MPG. As of now.

I do. like i mentioned in another thread today, we should be able to push the ball more with Jrue, Gordon and Evans all being able to handle the ball like a PG. Aminu will benefit

but i dont think we can think about trading Anderson now unless we know for sure we can get another knock down shooter

This could also mean Demps plans for Tyreke to play plenty at SF.

I don't get what there is to hate about this deal. If you don't love it, fine. But it's a 1 year deal that provides us with a familiar player who brings a needed skill set.

Because it eats up cap room we could have used for a better SF.

Weird? Aminu is a long athletic rebounding 3 who defends pretty well. He's pretty much all we need st SF right now.

Joe Ingles (shooter)/AFA (defense/rebounds) combo at small forward while Evans plays the 3 in crunch time.

Late in most games:

Holliday
Gordon
Evans
Ryno

I think this was in plans all along since it appears Gordon was never going to go.

Why not wait until next off season to get someone we can ink for long term who is worth it, especially with the SF talent in the draft next year that will open some SFs in trades? Don't overpay someone to a multiple year deal that handicaps the ability to do something next year. Leave yourself wiggle room.
