I guess the positive spin to this is AD seems pretty loyal to his teammates so maybe that is a positive factor that he might not run the moment his contract is up despite all the mounting reasons he could or should.

Except for all the metrics that show he holds the ball longer than almost all guards, possessions with him lead to fewer passes than most guards, he dribbles more than most guards, and AD being visibly worse with him on the floor.
This offense is not built around one dude lolly gagging around when he feels like it with the ball in his hands. He's not even a Rondo-type or even an Ish Smith PG where he can dribble around and produce results. He doesn't break down defenses to the benefit of others outside of "hockey assists" by collapsing rebounders and allowing ORebs.
