I'd argue and say Thompson is more important to the team than green is.

Draymond Green is the most versatile and, arguably, the best defender in the league. he's the 3rd best player (behind 2 MVPs) on his team and plausibly the most irreplaceable one.

their Death Lineups (which have destroyed the league for 3 years) aren't special w/o Draymond's amazing defense and outstanding passing/creating ability. most bigs (including Davis) can only dream of making the passes or having the ability to lead a break off a rebound like Green.

he is a legit top 15 player in the NBA. he may be an a-hole, but he can play.

I will cut to the point how was he better than George or Hayward? I think other players are better, but those are the easiest ones that are impossible to argue. He would have to go elsewhere and carry a team to really prove it wrong imo.

It has got to be a truly hard task to be a great distrubitor for Curry, Durant, and Thompson.

It has got to be so hard to excel on defense when he is basically not needed on the offensive end of the court. Plus he obviously is at most the 4th biggest threat on the team offensively yet he can only shoot 41.8% from the field and 30.8% from 3pt.

I would also say that Kawhi Leonard is a better defender and I would take Lebron James also. They are always solid/elite defenders and carry the team offensively every night.

Thoughts on Jordan over Cousins for Third Team Center?

Only explanation is Jordan got the votes because of the LA market. Cousins was the 2nd best statistical Center if you count AD as a 5. He averaged 27 pts, 11 reb, 4.6 ast. Jordan only averaged 12.7 pts, 13.8 reb, 1.2 ast

not even close for me...and Thompson is really good.

but to me, he is a souped up 3 and D guy...again he is awesome and a huge part of their success. very few guys can have a WCF game 6 like he did last year

but Green is the guy with the skills that are almost impossible to replicate

you will always miss the boat on Draymond if all you've got is vague shots at his skills because he plays on the Warriors.

there's no point in going further here.

He is a good player, but he took a forward spot when those other guys are carrying their teams.

Also of note, this pretty much crushes the dream of John Wall.

John Wall
All-NBA honors have Wall DPVE-eligible.

Wall, under contract for the next two seasons, is eligible to sign a four-year $168 million extension this summer.

The first year of the extension is worth $37.5 million and would start in 2019-20.

Idk if a ball dominant guard is our answer anyways

Edit: of course I would love to have Wall. We'd be a top four team in the west with him. I just question whether or not his skillset would maximize Davis's

A player like Wall and Paul who are great passers, high iq, and offensive game can maximize Davis and cousins efficiency imho

no player in the league i hate more than green
he is (behind the durant/lebron/kawhi level superstars) the most irreplaceable player in the league without question

unbelievable to me that he's developed like he has
