He's shooting 65.6% in the 4th quarter of games this season. Not too shabby, AD.

As good as he's been, I still think more offense needs to be run through him.

I can agree with that. He's nowhere near his ceiling, IMO. Time for the "King" to move over, we got a new sheriff of the NBA.

It will likely happen in about 6 years though.

Yet when down 2 or less with only seconds left in the game it doesn't seem like Monty is actively trying to get him the ball. It's always a 3 by Ryno (which isn't a terrible play but when you don't need a 3 isn't what you're looking for) or Gordon who is less clutch than Kobe.

Reke and Holiday seem to be very reliable late in games but I feel like your highest percentage look is something to AD near the rim.

Agree that AD needs the ball more.

He is unequivically the future of the NBA. Bron passes him the torch in 4-5 years.

I guess that means that Durant is Fredo. Ha.

This. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Typically, yes. But you also have to take into account who's defending him. For example, on our last possession last night, I think Aldridge was on AD while Mo williams was on Reke. I want Reke to take that shot 10 times out of 10. Overall though, I think we definitely should look to run the offense through AD more. I believe we will as this team continues to find it's identity.

Yup, I think we are starting to gel as a team. Like I said before though, Reke simply needs more minutes. Dude has been on fire as of late.

That's because the Pelicans blow arse and are always losing so he has no pressure in the 4th.

You should probably worry about the Kings (who are going to beat you again tonight), rather than the Pels.

It's much easier to say "get AD a look at the rim late" than actually accomplish that task. We've actually had a couple of plays where we tried I believe. The problem is that teams are going to collapse the paint and leave our guards open, much similar to the play that was run when Gordon rimmed out that corner 3.

Holiday executed a PnR with Davis. When Davis crashed to the rim, the entire defense (4 guys) collapsed on Davis and left Gordon wide open.

Keep in mind, we don't get foul calls during the other 47 minutes of the game. We sure as heck aren't getting them in the final minute. Any look at the basket better be clean (Davis' athleticism comes into play here) or it's likely a wasted possession.
