You just said Aminu is the worst starter in the west, which is absolutely not true.

Who are the worst players in the division and then the conference?

Tayshaun Prince is playing worse than Aminu on the season.

That's the 3 in the division.

Steve Nash has been abysmal.

PJ Tucker

Channing Frye

There are plenty of starters who have been worse than Aminu so far.

Division Starters ranked by PER

PG:
Mike Conley 23.0
Tony Parker 20.3
Jrue Holiday 14.6
Jose Calderon 14.3
Patrick Beverly 11.7

SG:
James Harden 21.6
Eric Gordon 20.3
Tony Allen 18.0
Monta Ellis 17.7
Danny Green 14.0

SF:
Kawhi Leonard 17.3
Shawn Marion 16.3
Chandler Parsons 15.9
Al Farouq Aminu 12.8
Tayshun Prince 8.4

PF:
Anthony Davis 29.7
Dirk Nowitzki 20.4
Zach Randolph 20.2
Tim Duncan 15.3
Terrence Jones 13.1

C:
Marc Gasol 20.0
Dwight Howard 19.2
Tiago Splitter 18.0
Samuel Dalembert 16.0
Jason Smith 15.3

PER isn't the end all be all stat we like to use it for, but I feel relatively comfortable with these rankings.

That was a throwaway comment and a red herring in relation to what this thread is actually about

This thread is about the hornets and pelicans performance in the third quarter

So, again, you're always right (except when you're wrong).

fine he's only the 4th worst. I was wrong (although I maintain it was a hyperbolic comment not necessarily meant to be taken literally).

Lets get back to the topic of this thread on which I am right

The one thing it doesn't really do a good job of capturing is defensive ability, which is one of Aminu's strengths.

That was only the division, not the whole conference.

Yeah he's fantastic stealing rebounds from Anthony Davis

This is the dumbest fricking thing you could possibly argue against him, but I'd expect no less from you. You get rebounds by going hard for rebounds. Sometimes you outfight your teammates. Sometimes the opponent outfights your teammate. Sometimes you outfight an opponent.

If he steals then from Davis, doesn't that mean he's excellent?

Or thinking trolling again? I can never tell...

There is no telling with Alejandro. Either way, it was a stupid comment.

Yes. It is just a matter of degree.

The poster seems possessed of so few consistent facts as to dazzle the mind.

Haven't read through the entire thread, but I actually looked into this last season. The numbers suggested something interesting - the Hornets struggled mainly in the 3rd at home and typically in the 4th on the road. I found one of my tweets about it here, but can't find my more detailed research about it at the moment.

God, you're an immature a-hole. It's now my crusade to get you off of this board.

Oh

We are judging who Aminu is better than based upon PER through 10 games?

Which means he's better than our very own Tyreke Evans, based upon your chosen criteria. Interdasting.

On no planet is AFA better than Frye or Prince. C'mon. Both have more than one redeemable skill. Steve Nash is about to retire he's hurting so bad.

He is a top 5 worst starter in the NBA. I
