As a fan 2007 is onky season we can point to as a "I knew this could be fun"....its what we tell people about when they ask us why we go. We have to refer back tp that to show nola can care about basketball.
If we can't refer back to then n is nothing to hang our hat on as hope that it can be that again one day. The franchise as a whole should be looked at

I'm trying real hard, but I'm not confident I understand exactly what you're trying to say.

You said we couldn't use history before Monty and Dell era to say we have always been bad and will continue to be bad. I was just stating that if we use the 1 good year as our beacon of hope that things can be good around here then we should be able to use the bad years when making points as well. I hold on to 2007 because it was the only great year the franchise has had and it's about as much fun as you can have during a bball season.

I would just disagreeing with you saying couldn't use previous years as a knock on the franchise. I was feeding a baby and typing one handed so it may have come off as incoherent rant

Here's the difference in our point of view. We have had an NBA franchise in N.O. since 2003 (I'm disregarding the Jazz for our purposes). However, pre-Benson is completely, totally unrelated to the current ownership. It's literally like a completely new team decided to move to town and had to start from scratch. I'm not basing my decision on anything that happened under a regime over which current one had no control.

Gena is pretty damn awesome too. She has taken special care of us. She organized an event where my daughter got to meet all the dancers, go on the court, etc. She also organized an event where me and a buddy got to go down to the tunnel and welcome the team to the court. She has been awesome.

Don't let these guys deter you. You can get tickets dirt cheap on stub hub, but you can get tickets dirt cheap through the reps (not nearly as cheap). Its about being a supporter, and the bennies are nice too.

I have had Gena for a while and like her. My only complaint is that she rarely offers up any special perks unless you nudge her.

Ive had 3 different reps over the years and they are all like this. The only real perk I care about is scoring seats closer to the action and they haven't really accommodated that for the past two seasons.

Im upgrading to the lower bowl sideline this season anyway

Yeah, I have had season tickets since Day 1. I have had probably 5-6 ticket reps at least. None of them have provided anything other than the occasional minor perk when asked. I have heard of some people a few years ago getting upgrades to courtside and the such. That has never happened to me.

That said have fun. And ask for Courtney. Hes the only thing pelicans have done right since I been a holder
So is Courtney really good? Anyone else like him as well? I am thinking of changing from Gena based on a disagreement with her recently.

You sound like a young adult with a few disposable
dollars in your pocket for the first time..

I see most of the gameday club seats go unused by adults..That's not stupid? Give the damn things away.

I see much cheaper tickets on Stubhub than the going rate. Savings over 60% for an adult with other responsibilities is not stupid.

And I have Saints and Pelican season seats.
It kinda depends on how big a fan you are.

It was a fair question and did not deserve such
a rude response. Being an adult does not make you smart or mature.

I have Alex and no complaints from me. Just finishing my first year with her. She's getting me free lower bowl tickets to OKC in 2 weeks for renewing.

There's no reason to purchase a parking pass, imo. I'd rather not fight the Dome lot traffic and just park nearby on the street or a cheaper lot.

There is a huge free lot near the area. I won't say exactly where, but it's close and has private security during games and it's free and a five minute walk at most.

Alex told me that was the weekend of May 3 and/or 4. Can't remember exactly but I remember thinking right before Cinco de Mayo.

I just renewed after seriously considering not doing it for the first time since they got here

I went to less than half of the games, gave away some and wasted the rest this year. I know the injuries were crippling but I agree about the coaching staff. Just sick of seeing the same mistakes and weaknesses every game

I'll stick it out to see AD blow up but the drive from Hammond or BR gets real old midweek when they are scuffling along as usual, and it does piss me off when seats in my section sell for a third of what I pay
