It is pretty unreal that they have had a residency there for 10 or 15 years. Over 500 concerts at that place and they are withou a doubt my favorite "low key" band. Saw them at howlin wolf on Friday night and they sounded great.

Used to be Luke Starkiller before they broke up and formed the Scorcezees (I haven't seen them yet). I guess I'll have to pick Anders Osbourne. Bonerama, Soul Rebels, Galactic, and Kermit are all up there as well.

When I think "low key" I think acoustic and quieter folk shows...

Not really equating funk/brass bands with "low key" haha

Go reread the OP. He describes what he meant by "low key" and it has nothing to do with style of music. He's talking low-key as in not big/famous like Mute Math, Down, or Galactic.
