Yea that would be right up their alley, and respectful to King. I'm down.

hmmmm, i'm not quite on board with Trucks as much as y'all are. A lot of songs are still a little off. That's to be expected though

while we have all the freaks in the same thread... how about that botched timing with the swing and miss Ramble on Rose. That thing would have crushed.

These are my seats. Same ones as phish. I'm beside myself excited. We get picked up in a golf cart, ridden to the private boardwalk and walked into the side stage. Open bar and dedicated bathroom. Sometimes I can't believe the cool shite that falls my way.

I'm more on board than I was in the fall and la playa. He's gotten a lot better-or should I say finding the groove. It's not like he had to learn 25 songs and play the same ones every night-there's hundreds to learn to keep it going like w/ Todd. Trucks has a long way to go to learn all of the nuances of what they've been doing for 30 years.

I have not heard anything about crack and details are few-the band is certainly not going to give many details on it, but health related stuff pops up-drugs, diabetes, etc.

honest tune-there going to be a 2nd set? I was thinking one long set. And as fall tour goes-looking like a light one to get ready for 30th anny.

Dude, it very well could be since it's just a one nighter, but I definitely ain't mad at a set break! Usually put those to good use, ha.

11th time I've seen them at the Wharf and they've all been 2 sets so I'm sure we'll get one. I can't reiterate how Frickin glad I am they're back.

Nice seats and setup, motorboat.
Jimmy side gonna be hotttt.

i gave away my tickets to a few of my spread head friends. I won them answering some trivia question on WNSP. It was the one about Auburn adding Georgia Southern to their schedule in future seasons.

question was something like which Sun Belt team did Auburn add to its future opponents. I knew it wasn't South Alabama.

hope they enjoy the show.

i would have gone but I'm a relapse waiting to happen and I need to stay clean for my job.

coool... fricking.... story.

I can't imagine them playing only one set at Orange Beach, but with a 7pm show time and two openers it's a possibility. They could play straight through 9-11 and it would probably be the same amount of tunes. People will still bitch though

My next shows on the horizon are Red Rocks

PSA for those coming to the Wharf. Be careful , they are bringing in the drug dogs, undercover dea and etc. The mayor is gonna try to make a point with drug arrest at WSP shows.

I'm friends with the councilman who made the initial comments "floppy ness" he's really a good guy and likes WSP, has many friends that like them and etc. The mayor on the other hand can be a huge blowhard, he usually has the best interest for the city but he can be and is a hothead.

It being memorial day weekend the city's resources are already thin and adding a concert exasperated the issue. The problem was the 3/night run and the lot wookies that didn't have a place to stay so they camped at the public beaches, stayed in vacant houses etc.

So they will be out in force looking for trouble.

I find it really funny that he has no issues with the fuxking mullet toss, which is a lot worse than any WSP concert. Hell if they went looking for trouble at Jimmy Buffet they'd find it hell most any event they can find trouble. Very disappointed with this stand he is making vs WSP.

Hopefully, the boys will blow it out and put on a great show. As of now the show is far from sold out. I was told that just less than 5,000 tickets have been sold, that was a few days ago and came from a wharf employee who's in charge.

Motorboat, I may see you in the owners box, which is rented by the Desotos restaurant group this time, I have am opportunity to purchase tickets but may opt to go with another set of friends in their box or some with floor tickets.

Looking forward to seeing the Boys from Athens GA. Been a while and I've heard they've been tight this tour.

Have fun but heed my warning.

Huntsville shows always ruled back in the day too

Yep they were always smoking but nothing compares to the energy at the 2001 3 night run oak Mountain shows. I've seen a lot and I mean a lot of panic shows daring back to 89 at the Nick in BHam and besides the last shows at the GA theater for Halloween and NYE in 92 that run at Oak Mountain were some f the best.
