I know what it's like to live somewhere with festivals, as we have a freaking biker fest that destroys our town and makes it miserable to live here for a week.

I was down at Hangout, and I can sort of sympathize with the people. Locals were already exhausted and worn out by the traffic issues and such due to Hangout. Now Panic is coming the next week.

It appears Todd has been playing with Bloodkin, who are opening for WSP. I predict Todd to return to the band this Friday. could be epic.

I kinda feel bad about saying this because Nance is a founding member but I think the band has more energy with Trucks.

He's played a couple shows with Daniel and Eric, but not Bloodkin officially.

Todd will not be making his return this Friday night and his return anytime soon seems to be extremely unlikely.

I've been told that Trucks will see them through the summer then Todd will take back up in the fall.

Can't wait for Friday. Good times 'a' comin'.

Is it a contract issue? because if Todd is playing and back in the scene, then it is likely no longer a rehab issue or whatever the problem was.

I like the energy Trucks is bringing too, but can't discount what Todd has done for 30 years. He's not the best drummer, just consistent.

I have two extras. They are in 305 but they are absolutely center from stage. Let me know if you are interested and we can meet up before the show.

To everyone going down there, have a blast. Bama panic is the best. I'll never forget all those Oak Mountain runs throughout the years.

I hate to break the bad news (to Todd fans), but he isn't coming out with the band anytime soon. Certain issues are still out on the table.

On a lighter note, just got word that Halloween is heading back to Asheville

I don't think it's a contract issue as much as it is a substance issue with Todd. Crack I was told. You hardly ever see overweight crackheads though.

Trucks brings a noticeable energy and thump to the chair, which, imo, was lacking.

Ain't hating on Todd, but I think Trucks being Jimmy ' s son-in-law makes him more available to individual time spent in the practice room, and it shows. A lot. But, any Panic is good Panic, Todd, Trucks, Gmac... Tune don't give a frick!

Look for a Let it Rock cover, like they did in 06 or 07 to open second set.

I'm thinking some nod to BB King since they have not played since his death.
