Vince Gill had about the best voice in country music that I can recall. He's nowhere near my favorite (Townes) or the best (Hank), though.

I love Parsons, but he really doesn't belong in a greatest country singer of all time discussion. Same for Townes Van Zandt.

Only if you're being ironic. The GOAT country singer might actually have to be able to play an instrument. IMO, shouldn't be considered a county music artist if you can't play anything.
