Yeah, it was a bit much for me a couple of times but at least he balances it out with a lot of love for a the USA. He also gives a great deal of thanks to the Bush's for AIDS relief. If I have to be preached to by somebody who leans left I'd probably choose Bono.

It really was. That screen was fricking huge! I thought the way they opened it out on the small stage and then it escalating to the main stage after a few songs was just the perfect way to start things off.

How was the sound & acoustics in Jerry World? I have heard horror stories about the sound at shows there. I am going to a show there soon & our seats are in the lower level. Just curious.

People were bitching about the sound on a website. We were in the middle 200 sections in a corner opposite the station. I think it's impossible to get the sound perfect in a stadium that large. I didn't see a problem with it.

I'd say the first four songs sounded bad but it seemed the sound engineers got it right. Rest of the show sounded as good as it can get in there. When the roof is opened the sound is better.... But that's only happened to one show I've seen there.
I think they either didn't do a real sound check or the audience/atmosphere affected the sound until they could adjust it.
