They are headlining ACL and I'm seeing them for the first time.

Been waiting for this since I first heard muaic.

How are they?

Please share stories.

Lucked into a ticket for a show in Broomfield a few years ago. First let me say that I'm not a massive fan but I've always wanted to see them. The thing I was most impressed with was that the band members all played a variety of instruments throughout the show. To me that is always a sign of good musicianship. Thom's voice kinda started to grate on me after a couple of hours but overall the show was really good. The "light show" was very unique. The setlist was apparently very good. I was with some extremely knowledgeable fans and they were quite impressed with the song selection. Not the usual radio hits - they dug up some rarely played numbers. So bottom line I thought it was a very good show despite the fact that I'm not that familiar with a lot of their material. Good music, good stage show and deep setlist made for an enjoyable show.

I saw them at the Lakefront Arena for the HttT tour in '03. It's an incredible experience to say the least and it seemed like it went by too fast. I was up in the seats but no one sat for the entire show, kind of everyone in awe. I remember they opened with The Gloaming and I remember thinking "that's an interesting choice, kind of a weird song", but the drums and bass line they added for the live version kicked in and the place went nuts. I think that's the tour Thom started his dance phase cuz he started twisting around stage in that ridiculously large leather jacket he wore and I was floored. I had seen some live footage of them from the OK Computer tour, and it's not like he didn't have stage presence, but he seemed to be coming alive, so to speak.

There There was next and Ed and Johnny on those toms live is something else.

When they Played Where I End that something was up with Colin's amp and the bass sounded super crunchy and really loud, and you could tell Thom was getting annoyed because he kept motioning to the side of the stage with his finger in a very animated downward thrust.

You and Whose Army was fun because on the "you and your cronies" part he kept motioning to the crowd and they went ballistic, and someone was waving a giant Union Jack in the upper deck, which he acknowledged.

I do remember that Yorke was super vocal about his distaste for Bush and Blair at the time and being in New Orleans, I was worried he would go all soap-boxy about it and get boo'd out of the place, but he kept his mouth shut. Probably knew better.

They are one of the g.o.a.t. live bands.

I saw them at Phillips Arena in 2012 and it was incendiary.

I saw them open for REM in 1996.

I remember they played Creep and that's about it.

Had tickets to see them in 2012, but a work engagement got in the way and I couldn't go.

I've seen them twice. 2008 and 2012. Both are in my top 10 of shows that I've seen. Awesome visuals, eclectic set list, etc. I am torn on if I want to go to ACL. I would rather see them outside of a festival setting because they will probably have a shorter set list.

Saw them on their 2006,2008, and 2012 tours.

Bonnaroo 2006 stands as the greatest live show I've ever seen. The other two weren't shabby either.

Saw them twice: at Lakefront Arena after Hail to the Thief came out and at the Woodlands after In Rainbows came out. They're a great live band with a fine light show. They're terrific musicians, but Jonny Greenwood is the MVP of that band. In NOLA, they did a great version of "Drunken Punchup at a Wedding" that was kind of bloated and funky - I swear it sounded like a slowed down version of the theme from The Jeffersons. You get a chance to see them, jump on it.

2001 Houston show at the woodlands. They played 29 songs and it was pretty incredible.

Yeah, pretty pathetic. Also funny that neither Cpt Panic, Danman, or Blue Velvet has ever seen Radiohead.

Saw them in Chicago on the King of limbs tour.

Easily one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

I was there for that show. That's crazy you remember it so well. they actually started with Where the Blue Birds Fly then went intoThe Gloaming. Only other thing I remember was the last song was Everything in Its Right Place and the word FOREVER repeatedly scrolling across the stage as they slowly all exited.

Also saw them in Houston in 2008.

I worshiped them at that point and I soaked everything in.

I remember that but don't really count it since it was the intro music that started playing before they walked out.

Another thing I remember about The Gloaming is at the beginning Yorke said "New Orleans" a few times in the mic and Johnny recorded it to the Kaoss Pad and sampled that through the rest of the song.

ast song was Everything in Its Right Place and the word FOREVER repeatedly scrolling across the stage as they slowly all exited

We were all sitting there watching that going ".............so do we have to leave now?"
