Where should I start with SCI?

I've caught String Cheese Incident on XM several times but never checked them out beyond that. Should I start with live shows or studio work? Any recs?

Live shows...I bought a few of the "on the road" series--that is the name given to their recorded live shows.
I started years ago with the 2002 shows and went from there.
