Vinyl question

I was gifted a nice little Crosley cruiser plus, but I don’t have any vinyl to play. All I have is an old Allman Brothers record that’s scratched. My question is, where is a good, reputable site to buy vinyl? I’m an old soul so I mainly listen to 60’s 70’s 80’s. Stones, Petty, Seger, Zep, CCR, Allman Brothers. TIY and Merry Christmas

Check for your local independent record store. Usually very friendly(if you want to go in person) and will most likely have new or used versions of classic rock albums. One of the best parts of collecting vinyl is going to a record store and digging through all the albums. You never know what you will find.

Download the discogs app and create an account. It'll also keep track of what you have and let you know stuff

I have bought most of my vinyl collection on eBay. Most of them between $8 to $20 with shipping included.
The other day I was at B&N and went to their vinyl section. They had some between $35 up to $85. No wonder why that store is in decline.

Buy used at a local record store - you can find used 60’s 70’s 80’s music for suuuuper cheap for the most part.

The Westbank Flea Market.
There is a older guy that has boxes of old Vinyl.
He use to sell them for 10 albums for $20.

I was out for a walk with our dog a few years ago when a black sedan approached and a man rolled down the window and started chatting. I was wearing an LSU t-shirt, and he mentioned having lived in Lafayette many years working in the oil industry and loved Louisiana, the food and music, etc.
Had a great chat for a few minutes then he mentioned his name was Chockey Kassem. I had just a few days before read a great article about Chad and Acoustic Sounds, so it was on my mind, he seemed about the right age and so on... yep, it was Chad's dad. Pretty cool connection. Invited him to my upcoming crawfish boil but didn't hear back unfortunately - I was definitely hoping to work that connection a little lol.

Go to Benton Bros. Antique store in the Denham Springs antique district. There is a lady that leases a spot in there that has a shite ton of old albums at great prices. Lots of good rock. You're welcome.

You just missed on Record Store Day, but there will be another one in April.
