I can see why someone wouldn't like RATM. However, I enjoy playing some bass on my spare time and Tim's basslines were always so bad arse and pretty easy to play.

3. chili peppers
beastie boys
limp bizkit (not for musicianship, but product)
smashing pumpkins

... after the first two IMO their is a huge gap and basically all of the others are in the next teir ... its almost impossible to only have 5 ... their are too many great bands that you would have to leave out ...

... all of the music that is being produced now is digital and kids aren't learning to actually play the instruments ... music today is just trash ...

I'm going to get slammed for this, but I gotta have Matchbox 20 on this list somewhere.

Yourself or Someone Like You remains one of my favorite albums ever. The entire thing is just great.

You people and Nirvana... jesus

Tool
NIN
RedHotChilliPeppers
Rage Against the Machine
Korn
Alice In Chains 6th so what

I lean towards metal... I sawr Modest Mouse and Radiohead... I personally like what they did circa 2000 onward. Porcupine Tree as well.

I understand your dislike. I like them, but I don't like them as much as most people here.....

but you have to give them credit. They're responsible for a death AND a birth of music genres.

This is why they are considered by many to be the most overrated band since The Beatles.

That's what's great about music though. EVERYONE has different taste and opinions.

Cept about Rap. Anyone with half a brain knows that's just god awful abomination of garbage.
