Great album. But it's very much not new. Just start a thread about it, I'll jump in

Vice and pitchfork have given it good reviews. I think its time for music board to give it a try.

The reviews intrigue me. Will give it a listen shortly.

So far:

Neon Indian - Era Extrana

Meatbodies - Meatbodies

The Tontons - Make Out King and Other Stories of Love

Steve Gunn - Way Out Weather

I just wanted to clarify they don't need to be new indie albums (because that seems to be everything posted so far)

I mean it can be, but it doesn't have to be

I'll nominate later tonight when I can get on here for a while. I'll try and do some hip-hop, but I might do a Brian Eno album because I fricking love Eno and I want to force all of you to love Eno unconditionally like I do.

Are you going to get mad if someone posts the new tab album and you are forced to listen to it?

dude nice thats on my harddrive but I've never listened to it

By the way when everyone nominates an album put a genre next to it for now on

No one has to listen to anything. We'll have a number of nominated albums each week and you can choose to listen to one of them, or none of them. But the more participation the better this will work.

Nomination list:

Neon Indian - Era Extrana

Meatbodies - Meatbodies

The Tontons - Make Out King and Other Stories of Love

Steve Gunn - Way Out Weather

Small Faces - Ogden's Nut Gone Flake

Father John Misty - Fear Fun

And hey Trey, what does Fear Fun mean? is that the artist or album or what?

It should be new indie albums.

This board needs more hipsters and less philistines.

And here's one more idea before I go:

We compile a nomination list, everyone has one nomination, and then pick 5 from the list?

Actually just do whatever you want, but one nomination a week from each MBer, and listen to anything from the list you want, multiple if you want

Nah, honestly I don't like 90% of indie

It needs to be a diverse group of genres. Keep it interesting.

POND- Beard, Wives, Denim (psychedelic Rock)

A lot of you are familiar with Tame Impala I'm sure. This band POND consists of a few of their members rearranged. The keyboardist for tame impala plays drums in POND. The bassist for Tame Impala is lead vocalist.. These guys are super talented no matter what the lineup is.
