Kicking Televisions is awesome. That was the first album I got of theirs.

Right on...I respect them, but I just could never really stand his voice. I remember when appetite songs were being playing on the radio and everyone loved them. I never really understood

frick no. Elvis isn't the king and he didn't start rock n roll. If anything it was Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and Little Richard. Elvis wasn't even a "rock band" just a singer. If we are talking 50s, Buddy Holly and the Crickets were the most American rock band of all time because they set the standard for what american rock n roll bands would become.

The Eagles are pretty much hated on this board (and most music discussions I ever have had)... I dont find them that bad... just not a huge fan...

Don't like music snobs. If it sounds good to my ears I like it, it's that simple. Don't try to convince me that Wilco( whoever that is) beats out the Eagles. That's laughable.

I much much rather Wilco than The Eagles. Not even close really for me. It is all subjective though. I am not arrogant enough to treat my opinion as stone-cold fact, and laugh at others like mr anti music snob a few posts up.
