Really liking this so far. The initial single kind of caught everyone by surprise.

Very impressed. I thought it'd be more mainstream after hearing "Fever," but it's far from it in my eyes. So many different styles and genres packed into such a short record.

I think it can be said that Dan Auerbach can do pretty much anything he wants. And in most cases he does it pretty well.

All in my opinion of course.

Are y'all kidding??

This is by far the worst Black Keys album and a severe dive to hit mainstream audiences.

They have completely left the blues/rock genre.

Did you even listen to the whole album? There's no way this is more of a mainstream directed album than El Camino. "Fever" is easily the most mainstream song, but after that I wouldn't call any of them directly mainstream.

Is the first release a sample. I can't quite place it, but is sounds like an 80's song that was huge. I just can't think of it. First single not liking, I will reserve judgement.

Disagree. Have you listened to the album?

Have you listened to the album? The first song is 6+ minutes long lol

This album feels really mature. I don't want to hear them make the same record over and over again. Do you? That seems counter intuitive and quite boring.

Digging it so far. About 15 minutes in and it's smooth...real smooth.

I've listened to it a couple times. Definitely more mellow than the other recent ones but I like the direction they are going. A band is good IMO if they have the ability to change their styles up and still produce good music.

That's what separates you from the rest! You lose some fans but gain more when you change it up
