He was incredible! I've been going to shows at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano for over 20 years and have seen some great acts there, like Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Johnny Winter, Jonny Lang, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmy Vaughn, et al and Benoit put on one of the best shows I've ever seen there. He packed the house on a Thursday night and the crowd was with him from the first note. Great show, great energy, great guitar playing, great music.
Those of you who said he was worth driving 45 miles down into Orange County traffic on a work night were right. Can't wait till he comes back this way.

If you ever get a chance, check out another BR legend who regularly plays the LA area. Gregg Wright...amazing rocking blues guitar player.
