Anyone attend the Tedeschi Trucks Band show at the Saenger Saturday night?
I thought is was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I've seen Tedeschi before and think she has taken it to another level.
What a great collection of musicians.
I felt like I was in church!!

Saw them for the first time last week.
Trucks is absolutely insane. I felt he was holding back the entire set. Also loved the backup singers/horn section. Thought they were very classy and added lots of depth.
Susan - great voice, immensely talented, but I was 2nd row and couldn't get over her ghost-picking the guitar for most of the set. She had 1 solo that I noticed and it was an excellent blues run, but other than that, I felt like she was holding a prop.
I'd still give it 8/10 and would highly recommend.
