Surprise of the weekend: Courtney Barnett

So, went to pitchfork Sat and Sun...
Sat was a waste of time, because it started raining 25 mins into Ex Hex's set and they closed the festival. Heard they reopened it but I didn't go back.. missed Sleater-Kinney.. boooo!
Sunday watched Waxahatchee.. love her records, live it was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The Julie Ruin was fun.. Kathleen Hanna's still got it!
I thought Courtney Barnett was fantastic! I was familiar with a couple of her songs, but she was great to see live!
I left after that

I was at her show at The Mohawk (Austin) last month and it was fantastic. Loved her cover of Cannonball.

Holy shite! She was on some TV news show this past Saturday morning and blew me away.
