Man I can't wait any longer for this. I've read tweets from people that have heard it saying they believe this is his best work, and that fans of Metamodern will definitely dig it.

From the track list a song from his original band (Sunday Valley) will be on it. The song is Oh Sarah. I personally think this is going to sound so great on this record.

Oh Sarah

This is how it sounded with the full band from Sunday Valley.

It'll obviously end up sounding way different than this.

Very curious to hear his cover of In Bloom by Nirvana.

I came across Sturgill by accident on amazon prime and have been listening to him ever since. Excited about the new album! Can't wait to hear how the In Bloom cover sounds.

"A resident of his own planet" is the best description of him I've ever heard. Dude is.... special. But awesome.

I thought the same exact thing when I listened to it. It was a bit haunting.

I do like his little lyrical addition...It made me go back and look up whether I've been mumbling along incorrectly for all these years to what is by far my favorite Nirvana song.

It's brilliant.

I think kinda like Metamodern, this album will take multiple listens to really resonate.

I turned my dad on to Simpson and he said the same thing and in turn, I went hunting for some Whitley tunes for my collection a couple years back.
