Journey has sold 89 million records.

Steely Dan has only sold 41 million records.

You can look it up if you don't believe me. Journey is awesome.

Honest answer. Journey.

Thank you. Journey is needing a little more love in here.

Or

Kansas vs boston?

Terrible questions.

Steely Dan vs Journey is a great question. Right up there with Metallica vs. Matt Nathanson

It's the worst vs I've ever seen. It's TCU vs. Tx Tech bad.

To be fair, each of these bands has some half-songs I can still listen to, but yeah.

I am somewhat embarrassed that I liked Styx at one time.

I'd be more embarrassed about being embarrassed about something like that.

Two very different bands. I'm not a Journey fan, but I won't start slagging them. Dan's musicianship is stellar, while Fagan is a thought-provoking song writer who presents some interesting points of view in his lyrics. i'm definitely a Dan Man.

I remember the guitarist from Styx--Timmy, Tommy, whatever--talking about the time they played before Blue Oyster Cult at some rock festival in Texas. The crowd was so galvanized with alcohol and Styx-hate, the dude thought he was surely living his last few moments. The guy is pretty small, with a squeaky little voice and that weird Prince Valiant hair and all, and … well, it was funny as hell to hear the story. Great rock 'n roll memory.

Hell yes, I'd'a been throwing empty Jack bottles at the dude. Get the frick off the stage so BOC play us some real music.
