Who's been and who's going next week to Steamboat? 12 of us in our group are leaving out of Shreveport.

My brother is playing that fest.
Maybe we will get a chance to see him. Haven't looked at the updated schedule, but I'm only going the night concerts. I love skiing too much to stay off the mountain during the day.

Would probably be easier to list the bands to avoid. Casey Donahue Band is the only band I recognize that I don't care for. I wish they would get this lineup for a festival in Asheville a week after Steamboat.

Definitely catch the Dirty River Boys and Will Hoge.
Hidden gem in there is Kyle Wieters. He's actually the road manager for Randy Rogers but is a super talented singer/songwriter in his own right.

What's a lot scene?

Ah. I honestly have no idea as I've actually never been, but I can find out. It's a Dickson production and they run a pretty tight ship, but they're also dealing with a bunch of dirty Austin hippies, sooo...

For the performances in the ballroom at the Steamboat Grand you guys need to get there early as you will find the line gets very long and it becomes one in, one out.

Who have you seen so far, OP?
I know several artists had a hard time getting there because of the weather, has anyone missed a show yet?

shite is fun. Jack Ingram, as always, sings barefoot and crazy without shoes on right at the base of the gondola to a good crowd. It is COLD AS frick here.
