Anyone else watching this? First concert back together after being apart for 10 years.

It was pretty good. They encored with Sound of Silence and Late in the Evening. Two of my all time favorite songs. Garfunkel sang an amazing Bridge Over Troubled Water.
It really is amazing how talented singers were in the 60s and 70s. He had a flawless voice without any studio help. Pretty cool shizz.

I thought this said Garfunkel and Oates at first.

1981. I watched some.
Makes me appreciate the difficulty of being Garfunkel.
It's awkward. 2 lead singers front and center. Art plays no instrument. Simon is a good guitar player. Art has to figure out what to do with his hands for 2 hours. At one point he just crosses his arms.
Cool to watch though.

When I was a kid, my family drove cross country with only one tape for the car stereo: Simon & Garfunkel's Central Park Concert. It is a testament to the strength of the performance that I do not absolutely loathe the album.

Them doing American Tune is much better than the Simon solo version. That concert is greatness
