This link popped up on my Google news feed and I gave it a try. This is a high quality recording of Ryan Adams and his new band The Shining at the Glastonbury festival in a virtually all-electric set.

Edit: I had to update with a less than ideal sound quality link, but its still pretty good. BBC removed the other one.

Updated Link

I have really been wanting Ryan to release a live album with his band, but so far all of his live releases have been acoustic. This is the best video of him and his band on the internet, IMO and the songs sound awesome. There are some new and old songs in there. Just thought I would share for all the fans on the board.

47 minute mark made me laugh, "You wanted the best, well, you got the.....marginally talented!"

Here is the setlist:

Let it Ride

To Be Young (Is to Be Sad, Is to Be High)

Dirty Rain

Stay with Me

Peaceful Valley

When the Stars Go Blue

Come Pick Me Up

Magnolia Mountain

Enc: Wonderwall

He's just missing an opportunity, IMHO - Run to You, Heaven and Summer of '69 would be brilliant additions to his setlist.

He has played Run to You and Summer of 69 in recent sets. Notably, he played Summer of 69 at the Ryman, as it was the location of a major outburst by him on stage after someone yelled it out at the concert about 10 years ago or something.

Bumping this to provide an updated link in the OP and post a link to Ryan's new 3-song EP.
